Every year as I shop for Christmas gifts, I try to select items that will be fun and enjoyed but will also spark a child’s imagination and teach them something.  Here are a few of my favorite things:

    1. Mad Mattr Modeling Dough

Fun to play with, this super soft modeling dough that will not dry out.
Comes in many fun colors and has a great texture to it.

2. Woodland Friends Sewing Kit

Great for kids 7 years and up, it comes with everything you need to make 5 simple projects and is perfect for travel. Suitable for beginners and is a great practical skill for kids to learn.

3. Chef Role Play Costume Set

This is a fun set for kids since it comes with a costume and a few accessories.  Throw in a cutting food wood play set and your little one will be cooking up a storm in no time!

4. Build & Paint Wooden Cars

All the materials you need to build and paint 3 wooden cars.  Simple and fun activity to do!

5. Deluxe Standing Easel

This multi-use easel has a dry erase board on one side and a chalk board on the other.  A
roll of paper sits in between the boards and supplies a stream of paper for the young artist.
Here’s the Easel Accessory Set and Easel Paper Roll that is sold separately.

6. Design & Drill Activity Center

This award winning toy allows kids to develop creative thinking, fine motor and manipulative skills – all while having fun!

7. Insect Lore Butterfly Growing Kit

My kids and their friends really enjoyed seeing the caterpillars go through their life cycle and eventually releasing them.  It was wonderful to watch nature unfold and sparked many conversations in our home.

8. My First Magic Set

Recommended for kids 4 years and up.  This is a fun set for someone new to
magic.  Includes easy to learn tricks and props.  If you like this magic set, you
may want to get this adorable Magician Costume Set to go with it.

9. Insta-Snow Powder

If you live in an area that doesn’t see snow, this is a really fun one for kids.  My
son was first introduced to this by his speech therapist and loved playing with it.

10. Electronic Snap Circuits

Create working electronic circuits and over 300 projects. Learn how to build
a radio, doorbell and more.

11. Kids Walkie-Talkie

Such a simple toy but kids come up with such creative games when they have these
things.  Maybe they are spies and they’re going on a covert operation.  Or they’re
playing house, walkie talkies add to the fun!

12. Solid Tempera Paint

Does your child love to paint but you hate the mess?  These solid tempera paints
have the look of paint but without the brushes, water and mess!
